so yesterday I was flippin the dial on the tele and on pbs (american masters) they had the Sun Records story, which was amazing. I really enjoyed it, and I really wanted to break a lot of bands' necks. I'll just quote third eye blind, so you understand. "johnny cash isn't my idle. elvis isn't my idol. the people that I idolize idolized them."

stupid.

anyway, it was great to see live ruin a johnny cash song and watch rob thomas from m.box20 tell jerry lee lewis what to play on the piano (ha!). paul mccartney and ben folds five had the best, and most respectful covers. it was fun.

um... I'm so poor right now. I might have to get a job a couple nights a week. I'm not sure what I'll do, but I need a little extra cash. I have too many bills and just enough to pay them. it'd be nice to get some new shoes, though.

oh, and I forgot all about this.
